Analog Devices EVAL-ADAQ7980SDZ Product Description

EVAL-ADAQ7980SDZ from Analog Devices is an evaluation board designed to familiarize the user with the 16-bit 1MSPS ADAQ7980 uModule . This data acquisition system is capable of integrating four common signal processing and conditioning blocks into a SiP design for a variety of applications. The ADAQ7980 uModule features a SAR ADC, ADC driver, and power management block, which transfers the design burden of component selection, optimization, shortening overall design time. The EVAL- ADAQ7980SDZ evaluation board is ideal for use with the Analog Devices System Demonstration platform board, or part number EVAL-SDP-CB1Z via the 120 pin connectors and the respective softwares executable controls via USB. The evaluation kit comes with the necessary wall power 9V DC adapter, a daughter card power connector, and nylon screws. This evaluation kit allows designers to integrate the ADAQ7980 uModule into their design for applications such as test equipment, instrumentation, communications, process control, and even medical instruments.
