The 1-2199298-4  by TE Connectivity is a 16-DIP Socket typically used in conjunction with through-hole ICs. The pins are spaced by 2.54 mm (0.1”) making it compatible with most solder matrix boards and the row-row spacing of 7.62 mm makes it compatible with most 16-DIP ICs (7400 series for example). The pins are made using Phosphor Bronze, plated with tin, and has an operation temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The RoHS compliant construction allows its use in the EU market and is supplied in tubes of 30. The pins have a maximum current rating of 1 A and a voltage rating of 250 V AC/DC.
