You can now build your very own Arduino-based portable gaming toy with the DIY Gamer Kit from Tech Will Save Us! With some soldering (tools not included), you’ll have an 8x8 LED matrix display that will serve as the gaming screen. You’ll just need to upload your game’s code onto an Arduino (not included) and you’ll be good to play on!

Since the screen is a small matrix you’ll be limited, but there is a lot of cool old school game options that you can set up like Snake and Tetris (you can follow online instructions). You can even set up a low-res Flappy Bird! You will need to upload code to the Arduino, so some Arduino experience or willingness to explore is recommended.

Note: Arduino Uno, soldering tools, and 9V battery are not included
