This industry 4.0 multiprotocol ethernet ports aggregator platfrom allows designers to integrate a variety of different ethernet prototcols into their designs such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet Powerlink, Modbus TCP, SERCOS 3, and more. NetLeap, or part number NOVPEK_NLEAK, features six ethernet ports, of which two are connected to the onboard HPS core of the Cyclone 5 FPGA, and the other 4 are connected to the FGPA fabric. This results in this product being able to act as a protocol bridge, switch, or router and even comes with templated project to work as a standard ethernet.
