The OP207CL from TT Electronics is a simple spot diameter IR LED. It features SMD configuration, a 7mm diameter emission spot size, and high-power output with parallel rays. Because of its low profile, small footprint and narrow beam emission, it is well suited to encoder applications. Other uses include optical sensor switches, long range light barriers, and automatic control systems.
