Pixy2 CMUcam5 object tracking camera and smart vision sensor for Raspberry Pi, Arduino or BeagleBone Black

Product Description

The Pixy2 is a smart vision sensor that can learn to detect objects that you teach it by just pressing a button. It has new algorithms that detect and track lines for use with line-following robots, meaning you can detect road signs and intersections and command your robot to follow instructions based on the road signs.

The way the Pixy2 works is that is uses a color-based filtering algorithm to detect objects as this method is fast, efficient, and relatively robust compared to other image algorithms. It calculates hue and saturation of each RGB pixel from the image sensor and uses these as the primary filtering parameters

The Pixy2 is smaller, faster and more capable than the original Pixy and is compatible with popular boards, such as the Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or BeagleBone Black.
