The TMS320C5515 DSP evaluation module (EVM) is a low cost, feature rich development platform designed to speed the evaluation process of Texas Instruments’ 4 latest lowest power C55x DSPs, TMS320C5515, TMS320C5514, TMS320C5505A and TMS320C5504A. This tool offers more memory options (Flash and mSDRAM) compared to TMDXEVM5505 making it easy for customers. Both experienced and novice designers can get started immediately with innovative product designs by utilizing the EVM’s full-featured Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment (IDE) and eXpressDSP™ software which includes the DSP/BIOS™ kernel.

The TMS320C5514 and TMS320C5515 are industry’s lowest power 16-bit processors helping conserve energy at exceptional levels and enabling longer battery life. With 240 MIPS performance, upto 320KB on-chip memory, higher integration (including a hardware accelerator for FFT computation), C5514 and C5515 provide low power foundation for a range of signal processing applications, including voice recorder, musical instruments, portable medical solutions and other consumer electronics in industrial and security applications.
