The ADS8509EVM is designed for the prototyping and evaluation of the ADS8509 analog-to-digital converter (ADC). These 16-bit, capacitor-based, SAR/ADCs operate at a maximum rate of 250kSPS. The EVM allows the use of an optional buffer amplifier U2 to condition the input signals to the ADS8509 device. The EVM is configured to use an off board reference (when the device reference is not used) through the setting of on board jumpers
