- PMP9781, Small, High-Efficiency Split-Rail Supply Reference Design for Portable Audio Applications. Differential HeadPhone amplifiers require positive and negative voltages. In this reference design, both voltages are generated from a single input voltage with an all integrated split-rail converter. It only requires one inductor and a minimal amount of external components to achieve a high efficiency power supply that keeps the distortion of the system very low. End users benefit from High Fidelity audio performances with longer playback time in their mobile application
