The MiCS-VZ-89TE is the newest in volatile organic compound (VOC) sensors from industrial and commercial electronics manufacturer, Amphenol. The sensor module is based around a powerful MOS sensor and is driven by smart detection algorithms to keep track of both tVOCs and CO2 equivalents in tight spaces, like offices, vehicles or other confined rooms. With a dual PWM/I2C output, the MiCS VOC sensor can also communicate directly with your ventilation system, saving both money and energy while improving your space’s air quality.
Amphenol’s MiCS-VZ-89TE VOC sensor module is designed for high-performance sensing for safety in your commercial or industrial application. The sensor itself is capable of sensing CO2 equivalent particles between 400 and 2000 ppm, as well as a 0 to 1000 ppb range for isobutylene tVOC equivalents. The module requires no calibration, features high shock and vibration resistance and operates quickly (< 5 s for tVOCs) with low power operation (125 mW). A low-profile 320.6 mm2 footprint rounds out the module, making it incredibly effective in space-constrained systems.
