OMRON recently unveiled a few new products in their G3VM line of MOS FET Relays. There is a large variety of solid-state relays in this series, allowing use in nearly any application that requires a variety of package flexibility and load signals.
The G3VM line from OMRON features six different package configurations: DIP, SOP, SSOP, USOP, VSON, and S-VSON. This variety of package size and load configurations allows for features such as AC/DC loading, micro analog signaling, and even high current and low on-resistance to the same tune as a mechanical relay.
Over 160 Different Configurations
With over 160 different options, discovering the range of different MOS FET relays in this family is very simple using the graph above. Voltage loads can range from anywhere between 20V to 600V and package size ranges from DIP8 to S-VSON4. These relays are ultra small in size and weight when compared to electromechanical relays, require a low driving current, and have an astoundingly long operating life.
