Here at Arrow, we don’t just provide you with a wide arrange of development boards from 100’s of suppliers; we design boards for your engineering needs too!
Whether they are coming directly from our own Arrow Development Team or helped on the development of the board from a supplier, you can expect nothing but quality. While we have plenty of boards (Click Here to See!), here are a few of our popular development boards that you can get for your next application.
DragonBoard 410C
The DragonBoard 410C still remains our most popular board. This comes as no surprise, as this SBC features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that includes a quad-core ARM Cortex A53 that can clock up to 1.2GHz per core, capable of 32-bit and 64-bit operation.
Highlights of this board includes its advance processing power, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and GPS, all packed into a board the size of a credit card. It ‘s designed to support rapid software development and prototyping, plus it is compatible with Mezzanine 96Boards.
The DragonBoard 410C is suited for applications that include robotics, IoT, medical devices, and especially camera. One application example is how cameras connect to the DragonBoard 410C for easy embedded vision development, as seen in our video. Be sure to check out the DragonBoard 410C page for more additional information.
Chameleon96
If you’re looking for a FPGA board that meets all the 96Board’s specification and offers Bluetooth, WLAN, and USB all in a small compact form, the Chameleon96 is the perfect board for you!
The Chameleon96 features the popular Cyclone V SoC FPGA that has a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 that has a clock speed of 800MHz per core, capable of 32-bit operation. It has a similar layout to the DragonBoard 410C, having two expansion connectors that provide additional interfaces to cameras, USB, UARTs, I2C, SPI and GPIOs.
Chameleon96 can allow you to develop custom IPU/GPU/VPU solutions with the use of the FPGA fabric for video processing.

MAX100, CYC1000, and SMF2000
The MAX1000, CYC1000, and SMF2000 are similar compact boards, but each come with their own SoC FPGA Family.
The MAX1000 is the lowest-priced MAX10 solution on the market that is a great fit for IoT-focused developers. The kit is a plug-and-play solution with an integrated Arrow USB Programmer2 and it has a preprogrammed demo application to give you a starting point and a better idea on how the board works.
The next generation of Arrow’s FPGA IoT/Maker boards, following the MAX1000, is the CYC1000. It features the Cyclone 10 LP Intel FPGA that is more than a simple evaluation board. It can be used for end products in a customized qualified version.
The SMF2000 integrates a Microsemi SmartFusion2 FPGA SoC and 8Mbyte QSPI flash memory for configuration and operation. It combines a 166 MHz Cortex-M3 MCU including 256KB Flash and 80KB SRAM, as well as 12 kLUT FPGA Core Logic. Just like the MAX1000 and CYC1000, the SMF2000 is ideal for evaluation and rapid prototyping.

DECA
For a more robust FPGA board, the DECA board comes with many additional features. This FPGA board is built around the Altera MAX10, providing internally stored dual images with self-configuration, comprehensive design protection features, integrated ADCs and hardware to implement the Nios II 32-bit microcontroller IP, making it an ideal solution for system management, I/O expansion, communication control planes, industrial, automotive and consumer applications.
It comes with add-on sensors that include proximity/ambient light, humidity and temperature, accelerometer, and capacitive touch sensor pads. It can also be compatible with BeagleBone compatible capes that can show case Texas Instruments’ families of BLE and Wi-Fi solutions.
